The only catch here is that a single bottle costs 1.26 million yen ($11,005) and would not be able to satisfy the taste buds of many. Japan will sell 20 bottles of the 1995 vintage champagne out of the 100 bottles to be available worldwide and the store will sell the first five.
If you think that is a whopping amount to pay for a bottle of champagne then you have to think twice, for Matsuzakaya has already sold off one of the 3-ltr bottles. Guess the elaborate wrapping of Dom Perignon 1995 vintage champagne bottles has been successful in attracting customers.
